Unreleased version of the song celebrates 50 years since the release of the album ‘Living in the Material World’
The new version of Be Here Now (shot 8)recorded October 12, 1972 by George Harrisonwas released on Friday the 25th. The material celebrates the fiftieth anniversary of Living in the material worldex’s studio albumBeatles of which music is a part.
The song’s music video is directed by Mathew Newton and Leah Marie Newton and features illustrations from the Ram Dass Foundation book. The song also has a new mix by Paul Hicks.
The artist’s second solo album also recently featured an acoustic version of Love me. Dhani and Olivia Harrison have prepared several releases for the celebration of 50 years of Living in the material worldwhich was completely remixed from the original tapes. The variation will be offered physically and digitally, contains 12 new versions of each track, a Blu-ray with all the songs, as well as the new Dolby Atmos ones, and an exclusive single by Life in the sun for mewith Robbie Robertson, Levon Helm, Garth Hudson and Rick Danko, of The Band, and Ringo Starr.
Olivia Harrison spoke more about the album: “I hope you revisit it Living in the material world or discover it for the first time and, as you listen, share George’s desire for himself and for humanity… Give me love, give me peace on Earth,” he concluded.
