Monsters of Rock announced this Friday (25/10) the bands that will perform in its 30th anniversary edition, scheduled for April 19, 2025 in Sao Paulo. Among the highlights, Scorpions and Judas Priest lead the line-up as headliners, accompanied by Europe, Savatage, Queensrÿche, Opeth and Stratovarius. This will be the eighth national edition of the festival, which promises to revive the spirit of great rock and heavy metal shows in Brazil.

Ticket sales will begin next Friday (11/1), but the organization has not yet released detailed information on the event location and ticket prices.
History of rock monsters in Brazil
The first Brazilian Monsters of Rock was held on August 27, 1994 in Pacaembu, bringing together bands such as Kiss, Slayer, Black Sabbath, Suicidal Tendencies, Viper, Raimundos, Angra and Dr. Sin. The most recent edition took place in 2023, after a 15-year hiatus, bringing Kiss, Scorpions, Deep Purple, Helloween, Candlemass, Symphony classic rock and metal to the country.
