The heir also asked to be included as responsible for the family documentation
Yuri Paladino Silva, one of seven children of fellow countryman Chrystian (1956-2024), is suing his stepmother, Key Vieira, on charges of hiding his father’s assets. The heir also asked the court to be appointed as the new person responsible for inventory documentation. His brothers will also be represented by the same defense.
Ralf’s brother’s untimely death has been marked by mysteries in his inventory, as his heirs have difficulty identifying the exact amount of assets left by the singer, including amounts left in bank accounts. The family has already issued some subpoenas to obtain this data.
Yuri’s defense, however, accuses his compatriot’s widow of having presented a one-sided version of events to the press. The legal team also requested the suspension of judicial secrecy, as Key had already leaked information about the trial.
“It turns out that there were requests from the heirs in the inventory process, where the registration of ownership of the house where the family resides, as well as the various companies that the sharecropper widow owns and the fact that , evidently, the collection of the sums resulting from the exploitation of the copyright of the cujus is carried out by the legal person (also for tax reasons), he explained to Notícias da TV.
“The simple fact that it is an inventory of assets left by a famous person does not authorize judicial secrecy. Especially since the widow herself has already broken every secrecy by giving interviews to the press and disclosing her one-sided version of the facts. Data protected by law, there is not even any intimacy, and it is true that the widow, I repeat, is the one who disclosed information and one-sided stories to the press, and it is true that the other heir children did not say a word”, added the defense.
The defense teams of both parties do not intend to comment publicly on the matter, but the space remains open.
The death of Cristiano
Singer Chrystian died on June 19 in Sao Paulo at the age of 67. He suffered a cardiac arrest and was transported by Military Police helicopter to the Samaritano hospital, but ended up not putting up any resistance.
The artist suffered from polycystic kidney disease, a hereditary disease that causes clusters of cysts to develop in the organ, and was preparing for a kidney transplant, which was donated to him by his wife Key Vieira. The surgery was scheduled for March, but was postponed to the end of the year due to the singer’s health problems.
During preoperative examinations, Chrystian had to undergo catheterization, which required the use of anticoagulant drugs for six months, making it impossible to perform transplant surgery during this period.
