Chrystian’s son accuses his stepmother of hiding assets in the inventory

Yuri Paladino Silva, one of seven children of fellow countryman Chrystian (1956-2024), is suing his stepmother, Key Vieira, on charges of hiding his father’s assets. “The simple fact that it is an inventory of assets left by a famous person does not authorize judicial secrecy. Especially since the widow herself has already broken every secrecy by giving interviews to the press and disclosing her one-sided version of the facts. Data protected by law, there is not even any intimacy, and it is true that the widow, I repeat, is the one who disclosed information and one-sided stories to the press, and it is true that the other heir children did not say a word”, added the defense.

The defense teams of both parties do not intend to comment publicly on the matter, but the space remains open.

The death of Cristiano

Singer Chrystian died on June 19 in Sao Paulo at the age of 67. He suffered a cardiac arrest and was transported by Military Police helicopter to the Samaritano hospital, but ended up not putting up any resistance.

The artist suffered from polycystic kidney disease, a hereditary disease that causes clusters of cysts to develop in the organ, and was preparing for a kidney transplant, which was donated to him by his wife Key Vieira. The surgery was scheduled for March, but was postponed to the end of the year due to the singer’s health problems.

During preoperative examinations, Chrystian had to undergo catheterization, which required the use of anticoagulant drugs for six months, making it impossible to perform transplant surgery during this period.
