Director Adriano Ricco was unable to reconcile the reality musical program with other Globo projects
Director Adriano Ricco, who was artistic supervisor of “The Masked Singer Brasil” until the beginning of this year, will not be in charge of the project in the edition led by his wife, presenter Eliana. The information was released on Sunday (27/10) by the columnist Mônica Bergamo, of Folha de S. Paulo.
TV Globo informed the column that Ricco will have other projects on the network and, since the recording of the musical reality show was brought forward, “it was not possible to reconcile” the schedules so that the director could remain on the show. The fifth season premiere is scheduled for January 12, but there will still be a special Christmas edition at the end of December.
One of the director’s projects will be directing the Multishow Awards, which will air on the channel on December 3. He has been part of the station for many years and has performed in several successful attractions, such as “Domingão do Faustão” and “Caldeirão do Huck”. He is currently general director of “Altas Horas” presented by Serginho Groisman.
