Malik postponed shows in the United States that were scheduled to take place in October this year
Zayn Malik announced the new dates of his tour Stairway to the Sky across North America. He was due to begin a series of shows for his latest album, Room Under The Stairs — released in May this year — still in October, but postponed the presentations after the unexpected death of Liam Payne on the 16th.
“Due to the devastating loss we faced this week, I have decided to postpone the US leg of the tour Stairway to the Skydeclared Malik in a statement via Instagram Stories on Saturday, October 19. “The new dates are being rescheduled for January and I will announce them as soon as everything is confirmed in the coming days.”
The performances have been rescheduled for January 2025 and are scheduled to take place in seven cities across the United States until February. This year, Malik still performs in the United Kingdom, with a tour schedule starting on November 20th.
Death of Liam Payne

“I lost a brother when you left us,” he wrote Malik when speaking about the death of Payne at 31 years old. “I can’t explain what I would do just to hug you one last time, say goodbye properly and that I love you so much.”
