Camila Cabello: Tribeca Festival brings music and art to Miami Beach

The Tribeca Festival returns to Art Basel Miami Beach in December, with an eclectic and vibrant lineup that includes everything from live music to conversations with renowned artists.

The event, now in its third year, will be held at the Miami Beach Bandshell from December 4 to 7 and features four nights of musical performances and a special screening of the classic 1996 film, The bird cagewith Robin Williams and Nathan Lane, followed by a drag show.

Furthermore, one of the most anticipated attractions is the participation of singer and songwriter Camila Cabello, who will be present for a live talk, promising to bring to light an interesting discussion about her career and the current music scene.

With curation focused on artistic diversity, Tribeca Festival will bring a selection of emerging talent and innovative sounds to the Art Basel stage.

Among the musical protagonists are the pop duo Magdalena Bay, from Miami, fresh from a sold-out tour, and Luedji Luna, a Latin Grammy-nominated Brazilian singer and songwriter, known for her musicianship that mixes Afro-Brazilian influences with touches of MPB and jazz. In addition to live performances, the event will feature DJ sets – including Natasha Diggs and Soul in the Horn’s L3Ni – to ensure audiences stay in the party mood.

With Art Basel taking place at the same time as the Miami Beach Convention Center from December 6-8, the Tribeca Festival adds another layer of entertainment for those in town, integrating music and film in an unprecedented way. During the event, the exhibition of The bird cage and live drag show promise to stand out, offering an experience that celebrates both LGBTQ+ culture and the creative spirit of Miami.

Camila Cabello: partnership to strengthen music at Art Basel

According to Jane Rosenthal, co-founder and CEO of Tribeca, the festival seeks to combine music and cinema to create a unique experience. “They say the best music festival in New York is Tribeca, and we want to bring it to Miami Beach,” Rosenthal said. It highlights that this year’s lineup includes “some of the most impactful artists of 2024,” reinforcing the festival’s commitment to innovation and emerging talent.

The event is a collaboration between Tribeca Festival, Art Basel Miami Beach and The Ordinary brand. The partnership aims to expand the presence of live music in Art Basel programming, offering a new level of entertainment that adds to the fair’s already renowned visual art universe.
