Anitta will perform at the 25th Latin Grammy Awards, the Latin Recording Academy announced. The Brazilian singer, nominated for Record of the Year and Best Urban Performance in Portuguese, will take the stage at the awards ceremony on November 14 in Miami, United States.
Anitta competes for the Record of the Year award with the song A thousand timesfrom the album Funky generationwhich did not participate in the Album of the Year competition. In this category, the only Brazilian to compete is Xande de Pilares, with his exit Xande sings Caetano.
Alok debuts at the Latin Grammys receiving two nominations. The songs Drum machinecollaboration with DJ Pickle and Pedju Kunumigwe with Guarani Nhandewa they are competing for Best Latin Music Performance, an unprecedented category for the award.
Another main category with Brazilian names is New Artist, which includes singer Cacá Magalhães and the trio Os Garotin.
