Preta Gil will not attend Rock The Mountain festival due to medical advice. The organization had already announced on Tuesday (11/5) that the artist would not be present at the event, without however specifying the real reason for her absence.
The singer’s publicist said she remains steadfast in her fight against bowel cancer. “Preta Gil will not participate in Rock The Mountain 2024 due to medical advice, as she continues to undergo cancer treatment,” he said in a statement sent to the press.

Despite the cancellation, the organization has been strengthened with the name of the singer Pitty on the billboard of the event, which will take place on 8, 9, 10, 16 and 17 November, at the Parque Municipal Prefeito Paulo Rattes, in Petrópolis, region of mountains of Rio de Janeiro.
