Singles “Banho de Folhas – Maz Remix” and “Um Corpo no Mundo” were recognized by the Brazilian Association of Independent Music
The singer and songwriter Luedji Luna received two gold records for his acclaimed singles “Banho de Folhas – Maz Remix” and “A Body in the World”.
She is the first black Brazilian popular music artist to reach this milestone.
‘Um Corpo no Mundo’ is a special album. 7 years ago, this was the work that launched my career, but also dictated a new moment for the market.
When it came out, no one understood anything: too strange, master too low, voice untreated, too macumbeiro, too political, Brazilian but not only, African but not only, beautiful. I arrived skinny and in white, moving waters in myself and in others.
‘Um Corpo no Mundo’ became a dance, became a master’s thesis, a doctorate, became a prayer, became a medicine, became my vessel for a few years in the waters of this Atlantic.
Thank you to everyone involved in this beautiful work!”, wrote the singer on social media.

The album One Body in the World was on the YB Music label in São Paulo as an initiative of Mauricio Tagliaripartner and A&R of the label. It was he who bet on Luedji and asked her to record after receiving the first demo of the album. The album has more than 100 million plays on digital platforms.
Meanwhile, the single “Bath of Leaves” inspired dozens of remixes, including the one released in partnership with DJ Maz in 2022.
Play de Ouro certification is granted by Brazilian Independent Music Association (ABMI) with the aim of valuing independent artists who have reached significant milestones in audio and video streams.
