The band Raimundos returns with a new single, “Maria Bonita”, which launches their first studio album after 10 years without releases. The song appears as a preview of the upcoming album “XXX”, which promises to be a turning point in the career of Brazilian musicians.
The song brings back the old school hardcore sound, which founded the Brazilian group in the 90s, in a smart mix with northeastern influences. The song was written by guitarist Digão in collaboration with Vitor Mendes.
Lyrically, the band directs attention to relevant and politically correct issues, bringing an empowering ode to women. “It’s what every goat of good blood has to earn to get it,” the musicians describe.
