The second part of the album hits platforms next Thursday, the 14th, and has ten tracks, like the first part, released in April 2024
The Cricket is about to launch EVERYTHING HAPPENS NOW PT.2 (2024) – continuation of the album released by the band in April — with ten tracks, as well as the first half of the project. The album hits platforms on November 14th, Thursday.
Just like in part one, EVERYTHING HAPPENS NOW PT.2 It has 10 tracks, now with the collaboration of the singer Manauara Gabi Farias on the track “It was because I wanted.” The journey that the band took us on in April now continues with reflective moments, dancing grooves, expansive choruses and psychedelic parts.
“There is no main character, no plot”, comments the vocalist Pedro Martins. “There are 20 songs that will permeate our sound universe in recent times. Anyone who wants to embark on this period with us is more than welcome. The story itself is created by the listener.”

Shadow in the Sun: a song that starts MPB and becomes rock with very Brazilian percussions.
Something Happens: a solar frevo on a gray day in São Paulo.
In My Heart: reggae that ends the previous track and has a quote from “Sampa” by Caetano.
I’ll Just Say: song with a danceable pre-chorus and a heavier chorus.
Worse Than It Seems: a rock with a striking theme that brings ska references and ends in hardcore.
//NOW: instrumental. The same track as the first part, but slower.
One Year to Next Year: a pop rock song with unpretentious lyrics and Tame Impala references. It also references the band’s first album.
It was because I wanted (feat. Gabi Farias): a duet about separation with a striking chorus. At the end of the track, it becomes a pagoda.
Everything Will Pass: psychedelic rock in a very Beatlesque style during the revolver phase.
Dissecting the Song: a melancholic and simple song that leads to a strong mantra complete with choir and string arrangement.
