One of the most successful duos in world music, Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel have resolved their differences and made peace after a reunion “thrilling”.
The ’60s folk icons had a bitter split after the release of their last album Bridge over rough watersince 1970 and, since then, they held a few meetings in a wound-filled environment until they abandoned a tour in 2010, breaking the professional and friendly relationship they had tried to cultivate since childhood.
However, in an interview with the British The times, Gafunkel arttoday with 83 years oldrevealed that his differences with Paolo Simone they were resolved after a recent meeting between the two artists and he apologized, through tears, for the numerous negative comments he made to his friend which caused the end of their friendship.

“I actually had lunch with Paul a few weeks ago,” remembered Garfunkel. “It was the first time we had been together in many years. I looked at Paul and said: ‘What happened? Why haven’t we seen each other?'”he said.
And he continued: “Paul mentioned an old interview where I said some things. I cried when he told me how much I hurt him. Looking back, I think I wanted to shake the Simon & Garfunkel good guy image. You know what? I was a idiot.!”
