Two dates confirmed

The first performance will be on May 3, at Qualistage, Rio de Janeiro, and the second on May 4, at Espaço Unimed, in Sao Paulo. Fifth trip across the country
Known for hits like “Don’t You (Forget About Me)”, from the soundtrack to the film “The Breakfast Club” (1985), and “Alive and Kicking”, Simple Minds have been known for the energy of their shows since alive and the notable influence on the British and world music scene. This will be the group’s fifth visit to Brazil, where they performed in 1988, 1995, 2010 and 2013.
Current training
The lineup that arrives in Brazil is led by the original duo of the group’s founders and main composers, Jim Kerr (singer) and Charlie Burchill (guitarist), who travel accompanied by a team of collaborating musicians: Ged Grimes (bassist), Sarah Brown ( backing vocals), Gordy Goudie (guitar), Erik Ljunggren (keyboardist) and Cherisse Osei (drummer).
