Show of power

Multishow will broadcast live Anitta’s second performance at the “Rock the Mountain” festival, which will take place this Sunday (11/17) in Petrópolis, a mountainous region of Rio de Janeiro. The show will also be available to Globoplay subscribers.

Anitta is one of the most anticipated attractions of the Rio festival, which mixes nature and modernity with Brazilian music. Furthermore, on Sunday the public will also be able to enjoy the show of Seu Jorge, Nando Reis, Joelma, Nação Zumbi, Planet Hemp and Buchecha con Bonde do Tigrão starting from 5pm.

On Saturday (16/11), Multishow will also offer other important shows starting from 3.30pm, such as O Grande Encontro, Àttooxxá, Zeca Pagodinho, Pitty, Pabllo Vittar, as well as CPM 22 and trapper Matuê.

First show

Last Sunday (11/10), Anitta took advantage of her first performance at Rock The Mountain to promote her upcoming single, “MC Cabral.” Although the title is a reference to the navigator Pedro Álvares Cabral, the song is ironic about Anitta’s nickname created by the fans themselves.

The singer is constantly cited as the “first Brazilian” to explore new musical territories, especially with her international career. The lyrics are full of irony. “Chata pra c*ralho,” he sings in the chorus, built on a base that references “Alala,” a 2005 song by the band Cansei de Ser Sexy (CSS).

He also presented a special setlist with songs from the international “Baile Funk Experience” tour, which has already toured in South America, North America and Europe. He also made the audience dance to his main hits, such as “Movimento da Sanfoninha”, “Bang”, “Show das Poderosas”, “Vai Malandra” and others.

This was the first national performance of the tour, and also the first show after the singer was nominated for the 2025 Grammys in the Best Latin Pop Album category with the album “Funk Generation” (2024).
