This Thursday 14th, starting at 9pm (Brasilia time), the Latin Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences broadcasts, directly from Miami, the 2024 edition of Latin Grammy. The awards ceremony features performances by Brazilians Anita AND Tiago Iorcas well as other names such as Angela Aguilar, Álvaro Diaz, Quevedo, Resident, Mike Torri, Trueno AND Jon Bon Jovi.
Nominated in categories Record of the year AND Best urban performance in PortugueseAnitta has to perform the song A thousand times. Iorc, which competes in the category Best Singer/Songwritersing Before the world ends.
Brazil will have the largest delegation in the history of the country at the awards ceremony, with 400 members, including 92 artists, such as Xande de Pilares, Alok, Yamandu Costa, Hamilton de Holanda, Ivan Lins, Hermeto Pascoal, Iza, Jão, Luísa Sonza, Erasmo Carlos, Gabriel O Pensador, Gloria Groove, Alcione, Marcelo D2, Thiaguinho, Djavan, Marisa Monte, Milton Nascimento, Elza Soares, Ana Castela, Simone Mendes, Luana Prado, Mariana Aydar, João Gomes, Marcelo Janeci, Gabriel Sater, Criolo and Chitãozinho and Xororó.
In addition to the Brazilians, names such as Shakira, Jorge Drexler, Jon Bon Jovi, Karol G, Juan Luis Guerra, Mon Laferte, Kali Uchis & Peso Pluma and Luis Fonsi compete in the 58 Latin Grammy categories.
In Brazil the ceremony will be broadcast live on TNT and E! Entertainment, beyond the streaming platform HBO Max.
