In addition to Twenty One Pilots and d4vd, Royal & The Serpent will also sing at The Game Awards 2024 ceremony, which celebrates 10 years of the award
Main award for video games, The Game Awards 2024 it will also have attractions from the world outside of the games. The event organizers announced three shows for the ceremony, scheduled to take place at Peacock Theaterin Los Angeles, on December 12, 2024, at 9:30 pm (Brasília time). Twenty One Pilots, d4vd and Royal & The Serpent will present themselves.
It is worth noting how the four presentations will be accompanied by The Game Awards Orchestraled by maestro Lorne Balfe. The 2024 ceremony marks the 10th anniversary of the award, which also reveals gaming news for the coming years (will it come Grand Theft Auto VI around?).
Interestingly, the three aforementioned artists participated in the original soundtrack for the second season of Arcaneseries of Netflix based on multiplayer game League of Legends. Each artist’s songs are “The Line” (Twenty One Pilots), “Remember Me” (d4vd) and “Wasteland” (Royal & The Serpent).
“As a fan, when I was invited to be part of the Arcane series, I was inspired to contribute in some way,” he said Tyler Josephsinger who forms Twenty One Pilots next to Josh Dun. “Several aspects of the story spoke to me on a creative level, and when the scene was shared with me, I immediately grasped the lyrical concept and direction for writing ‘The Line.'”
Josh and I are beyond excited to perform this song on stage for the first time during The Game Awards 2024.
Already d4vd shared contact with the game: “As a player and true fan of League of Legendsit was an incredible experience to collaborate with Riot Games in creating ‘Remember Me‘, as well as inspiring me to improve at the game.”
Finally, Ryan Jillian Santiagosinger of Royal & the Serpentcelebrated his participation in the soundtrack of the animated series. “It’s a great honor to be part of one of the most extraordinary and unique series I’ve ever seen. Arcane moved me with a deep narrative, an innovative artistic style and an incomparable soundtrack when it debuted in 2021,” he said.
Since then, I dream of collaborating with the project in any way possible. I am very grateful and happy to share this moment with the fans of the series and with everyone who dedicated so much time and passion to creating such a beautiful work.
