High demand puts K-pop group in stadium history; sales for the new show begin this Thursday
Historical question in Sao Paulo
Tickets for the Stray Kids show, scheduled for April 5 at MorumBis Stadium, São Paulo, sold out quickly this Wednesday (11/27). With more than 66,000 tickets sold in just a few hours, the group became the first K-pop artist to sell out all the tickets at the Sao Paulo stadium.
Due to high demand, producer Live Nation has announced an extra date in the city. “Due to phenomenal demand, a second Stray Kids show has been added in Sao Paulo,” the company said on its social media. The additional presentation will take place on April 6.
Extra show tickets
Ticket presale for the new date will open this Thursday (28th) at 10am, exclusively for Santander bank customers. The general sale will take place on Friday (29th) at the same time. Prices vary between R$460 (grandstand) and R$2,581 (Soundcheck VIP package).
Shows in Brazil
In addition to the shows in Sao Paulo, the K-pop group will perform in Rio de Janeiro, Engenhão, on April 1st. There are still tickets available for the Rio show, which welcomes around 44 thousand people.
If the group sells all the tickets for the two shows in Brazil, it would surpass the record of BTS, which brought together 90,000 fans in two days of shows at Allianz Parque, Sao Paulo, in 2019.
