In a statement to the foreign press (via NME), Carmela Wallacemother of Juice WRLDspoke about the tribute made in the game. “I know he would be very happy to see how the love of games continues to bring people together in different spaces, just like his music does,” he said.
“The Party Never Ends finally arrived. I’m happy that fans of Jarad are receiving the music they have been eagerly waiting for! When Jarad As a child, he developed a love for globes that lasted for years; he was fascinated with spinning them,” he continued. “Reflecting on it, I realize it was prophetic of what was to come. He grew up to become the artist Juice WRLD and touched people all over the world through his music.”
His lyrics were heartfelt and expressed challenges with mental health and addiction. The transparency of Jarad made people feel they were not alone; I consider him a pioneer in normalizing the conversation about mental health. I hope his music continues to have a positive impact on the lives of others around the world, and I pray that people don’t suffer in silence.
