Jeff Dunn announces departure from Venom Inc. and explains reasons: “time to resolve the situation”

Guitarist published a statement on social media informing that he will not be with the band for their next commitments

Original musician for the British heavy metal group Venom Inc.the guitarist Jeff “Mantas” Dunn confirmed that he is out of the band.

In April of this year, the artist had already announced his retirement from activities after suffering a heart attack for the second time.

Now, Dunn published a statement on social media explaining the decision, which involved health and other personal issues:

The last few months have been incredibly difficult on all levels and to make matters worse a few days ago one of my most beloved cats, Spooky, passed away in front of me after a short but very aggressive illness. I was with him every step of the way.

After suffering my second heart attack, the avalanche of love and concern from you through a multitude of messages has been overwhelming and a simple thank you seems insignificant.

So, my friends, now is the time to resolve the situation. I would like to inform you that I will not be returning to Venom Inc..

Obviously my health and well-being are of primary importance to me and my family, however, there are also more personal issues that influenced my decision.

To be absolutely clear, I will not be at any of the announced shows. On a much more positive note, there is new music and a return to social activity on the way.

As I’ve said so many times, music is my therapy, my release and my connection with all of you who have supported me over the years and for that I am eternally grateful. So, here’s to cats and Heavy Metal.

See you all soon, friends.
Much love and respect,
Jeff.
