The Fleetwood Mac singer sees big differences between herself and some younger pop singers, especially on stage
There are clear differences between the works of Madonna AND Stevie Nicks. However, the singer of Fleetwood Mac highlights one in particular that places them on opposite sides: costumes, developed with very different philosophies.
In 2020, Nick spoke with the CBS News on the clothes he wears on stage. The artist has always adopted a style without major changes — and this is desired, so as not to be faced with dilemmas in choosing what to wear.
The singer said, also mentioning other names:
Madonna he’s a chameleon, just like Lady Gaga AND Miley Cyrusbut I’m not a chameleon. I just wanted a “uniform” that I could go out and sing in, knowing that my outfit looked great and not having to worry about it every night. Who wants to walk into their dressing room and spend an hour trying to figure out what to wear on stage every night? This is too much work for me.”
In addition to personal preferences, Nick it gave a practical reason to wear pretty much the same clothes all the time. The singer explained:
You may not choose a good outfit if you do it the other way around. It works my way every night and it’s perfect.”
