The best shows that took place in Brazil in 2024

2024 was a special year in relation to the shows that passed through Brazil. Between festivals, visits by foreign artists and national artists investing in increasingly better tours, we can say that the balance was extremely positive.

Among Brazilians, we can highlight the closing show of the tour Dfrom Djavanwhich took place in Rio de Janeiro and, like everything the artist does, it was excellent. The always contagious energy of BaianaSystem shook the Interlagos Autodrome during the band’s passage through Lollapalooza. And how can I not mention the tours of Liniker and brothers Caetano and Bethânia. Rock dominated the ranking, with the band’s farewell tour Gravethe audiovisual recording of the Planet Hemp and the presentation of the Black Panther as an opening act for Living Color.

Among the international attractions, we can highlight the star passage of Lauryn Hill — entitled to Wyclef Jean as one of the guests — and the always brilliant Paul McCartneywho brought his tour Got Back to the country. The closure of Celebration Tour of Madonna for more than a million people on the sands of Copacabana I couldn’t be out. Other very important highlights were the end of the cycle, with Nicko McBrain announcing the retirement of the stage during the passage of Iron Maiden for Brazil and the exciting debut of Eloy Casagrande as a member of the Slipknot.
