The singer said he had a “near-death” experience that led to the cancellation of three of the band’s shows in Europe

Eddie Vedder turns 60 this Monday (23) as one of the greatest singers in rock history. Then, Eddie expanded his speech to highlight that not only he, but “some of us” suffered from the problem. In this way, the singer hinted that other members of Pearl Jam have had health problems in recent days.

The artist continued:

“You realize how precious this life is, how lucky we are to live on a planet where we can play for amazing people like the people here tonight. It was an intense experience. I won’t soon forget it and we won’t.” I won’t soon forget this night.”
