Fans have been asking the reunited band to make new songs available since the reunion was announced last August
The guns fell silent. The stars aligned. THE Oasis announced, back in August, that they would reunite for a series of shows.
With 41 dates already confirmed, the Oasis Live ’25 Tour takes place between the months of July and November, passing through the United Kingdom, Ireland, North America, Japan, Australia and South America. Brazil is the last destination on the agenda, with two presentations in São Paulo.
Even with the long season of shows, fans continue to ask if the brothers Liam (vocals) and Noel Gallagher (guitar) will also produce new music together. The first mentioned doesn’t help much: from time to time, the singer instigates followers on X/Twitter, suggesting that an album is ready.
The situation got out of control in recent weeks, to the point where he himself said, also online, that he was just joking when posting about the topic. However, the subject was revisited again in a new series of posts — which also seems to have some seriousness involved.
It all started when an internet user claimed that Oasis would have the same attitude as Stone Roses in 2012: they would hold a series of shows saying that an album would be released, then “disappear”. Liam replied: “For your information, c#zão, no one promised an album”.
In another publication, the younger Gallagher went further and established conditions for this album to become a reality. He stated:
“I think if we kill it on this tour and are kind to each other, there might be an album. That’s what real bands do. Let’s take it one step at a time. I think you will agree that this is the wisest decision.”
On the same network, when asked about preparing for the shows, Liam stated:
“Zen as fuck, I’m going to start starting the engines around May. I can’t wait. I just want to get on that stage and kill it.”

Oasis’ latest album
It’s been a while since Oasis released their latest album. Dig Out Your Soulseventh studio work by brothers Liam and Noel, came out on October 6, 2008. It featured the songs “The Shock of the Lightning”, “I’m Outta Time” and “Falling Down”available as singles.
The group came to an end the following year, after one of several fights between the vocalist and the guitarist. The decision was made moments before a show that would take place at the Rock en Seine festival, in France.
It is not yet known who else will be involved with Oasis’ return. The last formation of the band featured the guitarist Gem Archerthe bassist Andy Bell and the drummer Zak Starkey.
