Paulo was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on December 11 due to gastroenteritis, a medical term used to designate a type of inflammation or infection that affects the mucosa lining the patient’s digestive tract. It is usually transmitted through contact with an infected person or through contaminated food or water.
