Skid Row remains without a permanent singer and is actively looking for a new frontman


The band has been without a singer since March 2024; Rob Hammersmith updates fans on the casting process

From March 2024, the Skid Row is without an official singer following the departure of Erik Greenwallwho left the band to focus on his health. During this period, Lzzy Halesinger and guitarist of Halestorm, temporarily took over the role for a few performances, but was not hired as a member of the legendary Hard Rock band.

In an interview with the channel The top of the metalat the end of 2024, the drummer Rob Hammersmith updated fans on the progress of the search for a new singer.

“We are still actively searching for the next singer of Skid Row. We have had some very good and very strong candidates. As of now there is no news, no official announcements. As I said, we are still in the midst of a proper search , if you want, but we are making progress”, Hammersmith revealed.

The drummer also issued a direct invitation to potential candidates: “Singers, if you think you’re right, you know where to find us, that’s for sure (…). It’s a long process and it always takes longer than we would like, but hopefully by the beginning of 2025 we will succeed there are big announcements for everyone.”

Erik Greenwall integrated the Skid Row between 2022 and 2024. During this period he recorded the album The gang is all here and live You live in London.
