South Korean artist had to take a brief break from his career and announced his return with a teaser published on social media

K-pop group idol BTSthe singer J-Hope is back. Furthermore, he confirmed that fans will have news in 2025. This Friday (January 10), the South Korean announced that he will release new music in March. He prepares for the world tour Hope on the Stagehis first solo career.

The news was shared through a teaser video called “Beginning of a New Dream”which shows the singer and dancer working in the studio.

The concert schedule begins at the end of February with performances in the hometown of J-Hope. Until June, the artist will tour cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago, Mexico City and Osaka. No date in Brazil has been announced.

The tour announcement comes less than three months after the artist was discharged from the South Korean army after completing his mandatory tour. He launched his solo career in 2022 with the LP Jack in the Box and enlisted in April of the following year.

It’s half nervousness, half excitement. As I’m the first to go solo, I feel a sense of responsibility and there’s definitely some pressure too,” he told Rolling Stone at the time of the LP’s release.

The project Hope on the Street was released while J-Hope was in military service and included performances and a six-part documentary series. Now, J-Hope is eager to pick up where he left off.
