On holiday in Bahia, the singer asked fans to avoid taking photos on the beach of Porto da Barra
Caetano Veloso He used his Instagram profile this weekend to announce that he is on vacation in Salvador, Bahia. The singer, who tours the country with his sister Mary Bethanyasked for collaboration to rest during the January break.
“I really want to take a vacation this year, more radically than I promised myself last year. I hope everyone cooperates with me. Do an interview, give a piece of cake at a show… all of these things, no,” the artist said in the video.
In January 2024 Caetano also announced that he would be on holiday, but abandoned the break to perform at the Summer Festival on the 28th. In March he announced the tour Caetano and Bethânia. “He didn’t rest at all and he didn’t even let me rest,” Bethânia commented then.
In the caption, the singer also said that this year he will not want to take photos on the beach of Porto da Barra, as is customary for his fans when he is on holiday in the capital of Bahia and decides to relax on the coast of Salvatore.
“I will do the show with Bethânia in February and this is already a lot of summer work! I will rest well… in short!”, added Caetano.
On February 8, the brothers will take the stage again at the Casa de Apostas Arena Fonte Nova, in Salvador. The first performance took place on November 30th. Besides Salvador, there will be a new show in Rio de Janeiro on March 15th.
