The new album by Ringo Starr, Look forthe former drummer of Beatles to his love of country music, especially classical music. “I like old country, old style, and that’s what we have,” he said Rolling Stone in a new interview.
But Starr he also surprised us when he revealed he was a fan of the eclectic country artist responsible for songs like “Infernal”, “Mississippi Mud” AND “Crazy rebel country”.
“Just to confuse the minds and brains of everyone in Nashville: How’s Hank the Third?” he asks Starrreferring to Hank Williams III.
The grandson of Hank Williams was responsible for mixing heavy metal with outlaw country for a series of albums, starting with Outlaw on the rise 1999. After releasing a couple of records in 2013, the country LP Brothers of the 4×4 and the punk project The diabolical threat, Williams left the scene.

These artists will share the stage with Starr during two shows in Nashville. The shows will be recorded and shown over the next few months and will feature hits from Beatles and the musician’s solo career, all oriented towards country. Furthermore, part of the proceeds will be allocated to actions against fires in California.
