FireAid: the megafestival that promises to rebuild Los Angeles after the fires


The event broadcast live online will feature performances by Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sting, Billie Eilish, Pink and more

A global livestream megafestival has been announced for two major venues in Inglewood, California, United States. Intuit Dome and Kia Forum will receive on November 30th Fire aiddesigned to raise funds to rebuild wildfire-ravaged communities and support efforts to prevent future wildfire disasters in the southern part of the state, particularly Los Angeles.

The attractions announced are: Billie Eilish and Finneas, Earth Wind & Fire, Gracie Abrams, Green Day, Gwen Stefani, Jelly Roll, Joni Mitchell, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Lil Baby, P!nk, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rod Stewart, Sting, Stephen Stills , Stevie Nicks AND Tate McRae. There will also be a first-time show Dave Matthews AND John Mayer. Further names are expected to be confirmed shortly, as well as the line-ups for each venue.

Anyone in attendance who wants to attend in person will be able to purchase tickets starting Wednesday (22nd) via American Ticketmaster. However, there will be a live broadcast on the platforms Apple Music, Apple TV, Max, iHeartRadio, KTLA+, Netflix/Tudom, Paramount+, Prime Video, Amazon Music on Twitch, SiriusXM, Spotify, SoundCloud, Veeps AND YouTube.

The idea is to mobilize donations from around the planet, providing assistance to hundreds of thousands of homeless people and helping to cover an estimated loss of 150 billion dollars (R$900 billion). More information can be found at FireAidLA.org.

Contributions paid will be distributed under the guidance of the Annenberg Foundation, for short-term relief efforts and long-term initiatives to prevent future fire disasters. All proceeds from FireAid will go directly to the beneficiaries, as the Los Angeles Clippers basketball team will cover the millions in expenses associated with the event. It is produced by the Arzoff family with Live Nation and AEG Presents.
