The actor was accused by the actress of sexual harassment and creating a toxic work environment on set; in response, he sued her for defamation

In a new development of the clash between Giustino Baldoni AND Blake Livelyprotagonist and director of Here’s how it ends (2024), the director, through his production company Wandererand his lawyer, Bryan Freedmannhe handed it over to the British newspaper Daily Mail a nearly 10-minute video showing interactions between him and his co-star.

The video reflects a moment brought by Blake in the lawsuit filed against Baldoniin which he claims that during a scene in which the two were dancing together, he “chose to turn the camera and have him act out the scene, but he didn’t act as Ryle.” At that moment, the actor would have acted like himself and not like the character.

Lively claims her co-star leaned forward and slowly dragged her lips from her ear to her neck, saying she “smells so good.” According to the actress, the sound of this conversation would not be captured.

In the video sent to the newspaper by the director, the microphones worked and the conversation was recorded. The two talk about coincidence, as the audio from the scene would not be used in the final cut. Filming begins with a debate between the two over what would be more romantic for the scene, talking or kissing, which the actress concludes is “more romantic.” When a colleague asks if people will find out what they’re talking about, Lively he replies, “They’ll never find out.”

The two talk about their relationship with their respective partners and, at a certain point, the director says that he wants the two to be filmed almost while they are kissing and the actress continues to talk. They jokingly talk about the size of the actor’s nose.

About seven minutes into the video, the scene is highlighted by Lively happens. Baldoni He asks his colleague “if I shave you” and she replies “I’ll probably give you fake tan”. Then he says, “It smells good,” and they both laugh.
