For the 2025 ceremony of Grammythe The Recording Academy announced that the comedian Trevor Noah will be the presenter for the fifth consecutive time.
In a post made on social media, the organization’s official accounts confirmed Noah in charge of the ceremony, scheduled to take place on February 2nd. In Brazil, the award will be broadcast simultaneously on the channel TNT and the streaming service Max.

Prince and The Clash will receive Grammy Lifetime Achievement Awards in 2025

THE Grammy Academy announced last Friday, the 20th, that Princethe British band The Clash and Frankie Vallilead singer of the group Four Seasonswill be honored with lifetime achievement awards during the Special Merit Ceremony of the Grammyscheduled for February 1st.
In addition to those mentioned, other artists who will also receive the honor include the rapper Roxanne Shantemember of Juice Crew; Frankie Beverlyfrom the band Maze; the renowned blues musician Taj Mahal; and the gospel singer Dr Bobby Jones. The awards for Academy will also recognize Erroll Garnera jazz icon; the Cuban composer Tania Leon; and the producer Glyn Johnswho will be awarded the prize Trustees.

Prince, Joe Strummer of The Clash and Frankie Beverlywho passed away in September 2024, will receive the awards posthumously. Prince is already a member of the Sports Hall of Fame. Grammy and just like The Clash and Frankie Vallihe is also one of the honorees at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
In recent years, recipients of the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Grammy included artists such as Nirvana, Neil Rodgers, N.W.A., Donna Summer, Tammy Wynette and the Supremes. The Special Merit ceremony will take place at the Wilshire Ebell Theater in Los Angeles on February 1, one day before the 2025 Grammys are handed out at the Crypto.com Arena on February 2.
