Hi Ed Sheeran, great to listen to 👍. I used the word “allegedly” for JK Rowling’s New Year’s Eve party because it was widely reported in the British and international media at the time. I also reached out to you directly in the first week of January on Twitter to ask if the story was true, but received no response. I’m glad to hear you didn’t go! ✌️❤️🏳️⚧️

Story by JK Rowling
In a recent case, Rowling has once again attacked the transgender population. This time, the author of the series Harry Potter he did so in an article published on The timesin which she states that the fight for trans rights is the “greatest harassment” of women’s rights she has seen in her life.
The essay in question must be part of the book The women who didn’t complainwhich will address the fight for women’s rights in Scotland (via Yahoo! News). The text of Rowlingreproduced in full TeamsIt’s titled “JK Rowling: Why I Decided to Defend Women” (“JK Rowling: Why I Decided to Defend Women”, in free translation), and talks about the author’s decision to publicly take a stand against the trans cause:
“I would be ashamed for the rest of my days if I didn’t,” the 59-year-old Englishman wrote.
I have come to understand that the sociopolitical movement that insists that “trans women are women” is neither kind nor tolerant, but in fact deeply misogynistic, regressive, dangerous in some of its goals, and clearly authoritarian in its tactics.
The author also declared the fight for trans youth a “terrible medical scandal” and said that her insistence on publicly addressing the issue has caused her “chronic pain,” but that she doesn’t regret doing so:
“If I have any regret, in fact, it is that I did not speak [sobre isso] much earlier.”
