Willoughby also expressed:
Hi Ed Sheeran — that’s great to hear 👍. I used the word ‘supposedly’ about JK Rowling’s New Year’s Eve party because it was widely reported in the UK and international media at the time. I also reached out to you directly in the first week of January on Twitter to ask if the story was accurate — but I didn’t hear back. I’m glad to know you didn’t go! ✌️❤️🏳️⚧️

JK Rowling History
In a recent case, Rowling again attacked the transgender population. This time, the author of the series Harry Potter did so in an article published in The Timesin which he states that the fight for trans rights is the “greatest harassment” of women’s rights he has seen in his life.
The essay in question must be part of the book The Women Who Wouldn’t Wheeshtwhich will address the fight for women’s rights in Scotland (via Yahoo! News). The text of Rowlingreproduced in full on Teamsis called “JK Rowling: Why I decided to stand up for women” (“JK Rowling: why I decided to defend women”, in free translation), and talks about the author’s decision to publicly take a stance against the trans cause:
“I would be ashamed for the rest of my days if I didn’t,” the 59-year-old Brit wrote.
I have come to understand that the socio-political movement that insists that ‘trans women are women’ is neither kind nor tolerant, but in fact deeply misogynistic, regressive, dangerous in some of its aims and clearly authoritarian in its tactics.
The author also declared the fight for trans youth as a “terrible medical scandal” and said that her insistence on publicly addressing the issue caused her “chronic pain”, but that she does not regret doing so:
“If I have any regret, in fact, it is that I did not speak [sobre isso] long before.”
