The legendary rocker, 77, will still have a residency in Las Vegas this year
Sammy Hagar, former singer of the groups Van Halen and Montrose, announced it in recent days will stop touring. “Therefore (the residence), I don’t need to travel, I don’t need to unpack, pack and get on a plane every day. You know, at my age, my shoulders hurt doing all this. And I have to act. I’m an artist, after all. I keep telling my manager, “Don’t do any tours, let me do this residency.” If I like it enough I’ll make another one. And if I’m successful, I’ll do another one, and I can squeeze a few more years out of my career.”he concluded.
