Roberto Carlos apologizes for telling fan to shut up; ‘unintentionally left’

Roberto Carlos got angry with a fan during a show last week

During a show in Rio de Janeiro last Thursday, 20th, Roberto Carlos apologized for telling a fan to shut up at a performance held at the same venue days earlier.

I want to talk about something after what happened last week: for those who come to pick up the roses, wait to finish the song, ‘Jesus Christ’. It’s just that if I don’t I can be nervous, and when I’m nervous… f*ck. He left by accident, see?!”, the King explained, drawing laughter from the audience.

According to information from G1, Roberto Carlos was “totally unfocused” after several fans got out of their chairs and gathered below the stage to sing the song.

“This is a softer song. He said, ‘Since you came early, be quiet.’ It was the same as nothing, they continued screaming,” the aide told the portal. The singer remained irritated until the next song.

“Because he is a perfectionist, he prepared that number with great care. Then when he saw that he was not going to be able to deliver the way he idealized, he was a little sad”, he added.

The incident happened while he was singing the big hit “How great is my love for you”which is part of the album Roberto Carlos in Rhythm of Adventurefrom 1967. Watch the moment below:
