Mark Jackson of Orville: New Horizons talks about Kaylon’s war and anticipates “whirlwinds and spins” for upcoming episodes

L’Orville: new horizons is nearing the end of its third season and things are going crazy. The Union has lost the intriguing but cunning Moclans as essential allies in their fight against the Kaylons, and there is great uncertainty as to whether or not the Planetary Union will win the war without them. What Hulu subscribers Wait and see what happens and ask yourself if season 4 is going to happen, Isaac actor Mark Jackson teased a little bit what’s going to happen.

Gossipify had a chance to sit down with Mark Jackson at San Diego Comic-Con to talk about what’s going to happen in the final weeks of L’Orville: new horizons And while Jackson kept things spoiler-free, what he said should excite viewers. Based on the actor’s feelings, fans expect big changes before the season ends:

I think what you need to know now is to expect the unexpected. We have two episodes left this season at the moment. You know, there are twists to come. I tell you.

The final episodes of a season of any show can be thrilling, and it’s definitely good to hear that. L’Orville: new horizons has some surprises planned for the two episodes. Unfortunately, Mark Jackson’s comments provide no indication that the season will leave the door open for more storylines in potential future seasons.

I don’t know what the actor is joking about for the next few episodes of new horizonyes, but the star spoke to Gossipify on another occasion prior to SDCC. During this conversation, you talked about Isaac and Kaylon’s war. I asked if there was any chance the season would show some determination between Kaylon and Union forces, and Mark Jackson shared what he could about the story:

Maybe Timmis was kind, right? Yes, I think there is a lot of potential there. Who knows, do you know? At the moment, these Kaylons aren’t very friendly and their ultimate goal hasn’t changed. How The Orville and The Union will navigate which will develop in future episodes.

The star mentioned Timmis, the Kaylon discovered by Captain Ed Mercer and the crew, who had the ability to process emotions to the point of softening even the heart of Charly Burke, the ensign who hates Kaylon by Anne Winters just a little. Timmis agreed to be observed by Union scientists, to see if his empathy could be the key to ending the conflict with the Kaylons. Given these twists and turns, it is certainly possible that the Union is successful and that fans will see an end to the war.

If nothing else, I’ve seen enough deceptively evil robots in science fiction to wonder if Timmis is a spy for Kaylon, the one who will ultimately bring the Union to its knees with some sort of surprise attack. A result would be orville one type of purpose, while the other feels like a story that fans need to see more of.

At the moment, it’s still unclear whether or not Hulu will renew the series for a fourth season. We learned from the stars that probably get off at New horizons ‘listen to the numbers and rumors on social media. Hopefully this new season does enough to move the needle and that the show has a chance to do so by characters like J. LaMarr Read more stories and go forward dive deeper into a more serious narrative . But first of all, let’s hope for some sort of closure when it comes to this Kaylon war.

L’Orville: new horizons currently streaming new episodes on Hulu (opens in a new tab) Thursday and seasons 1-3 will arrive on Disney + on Wednesday 10th August.
