Music Abrams defends Dora Jar after controversial petition: ‘Dora Forever’

Gracie Abrams criticized a petition created by fan to replace Dora jar as an opening act of their next tour in the UK and Europe. The singer classified the situation as “ridiculous” and confirmed her support to colleague artist.

Last Friday (24), Dora Jar announced that he would open the shows of the ABRAMS tour, which will pass through cities such as Nottingham, Leeds, London, Manchester, Cardiff, Dublin and Glasgow between February and March. A few hours after the announcement, some Abrams fans expressed dissatisfaction and started a campaign in Change.org so that Dora would be replaced by a “best known and energetic” artist.

On Saturday (25), Dora responded to the situation, saying: “Hate is part of the work. The truth is that this was the biggest show of love I’ve ever received from a fan base that is still getting to know me. Gracie has open -hearted fans, and I’m very excited for this tour. ”

Gracie Abrams also commented on the case in an Instagram post of Stereogum: “I just learned about this absurd situation… it’s so incredibly meaningless and bizarre. I have only seen total enthusiasm and I feel extremely lucky and proud to share the stage with this amazing talent. Listen to everything she has done, whether or not going to the shows. Dora forever. ”

Gracie Abrams tour begins on February 9 in Madrid and includes performances in cities such as Lisbon, Berlin, Milan and Paris.

Dora Jar released her debut album, No way to relax when you are on firein September 2024. The album was inspired by a two -year experience, which included tours with Billie Eilish and The 1975.
