Music of Pillars returns to SP with tribute to Caetano Veloso; See how to buy tickets

After the absolute success last year, Pillars is back at Unimed space with the show “Xande sings Caetano”. The presentation is scheduled for February 1st (Saturday), following the request of the public from São Paulo for another opportunity to experience this exciting tribute to the icon of Brazilian music, Caetano Veloso.

With artistic direction of Regina Casé and musical direction of Pretinho da Serrinhaas on the album, the show is part of the national tour that has already won audiences throughout Brazil and now returns to São Paulo to repeat the emotion.

On stage, Xande plays songs recorded on the eponymous album, as “People”, “Joy, joy”, “Love”, “Anything”, “Tigress”, “Sunlight”, “São Jorge Moon” and “Very romantic”.

Other works by Caetano are also present in the repertoire. This is the case, for example, “Complaint”, “Train of Colors”, “Reconvexo”, “Hidden Eclipse” and “Strange force”song that makes the audience vibrate when sung and is available on all digital platforms.

Caetano’s compositions gained a new identity through the sambista’s voice, under the eyes and ears of the honoree and also Paula Lavigne.

Success of Xande sings Caetano

The album “Xande sings Caetano” has over 40 million reproductions and has won the Latin Grammy 2024 for best samba/pagoda album, besides being the only Brazilian in the dispute of best album of the year.

The album also took the Brazilian Music Award 2024 (best interpreter and best samba release) and the Multishow Award 2023 (samba and pagoda of the year for “very romantic” and album of the year), where Pretinho da Serrinha It was recognized as the best music producer.
