The largest festival for peripheral culture in Brazil, Favela ringsIt starts 2025 with a special edition of Carnival between 10 and 15 February.
Maintaining tradition, the event brings a totally free program and brings together artists from the suburbs of all the corners of Brazil – and also from abroad.
Flourish, Budah, Kannalha, DJ Caio Prince, KEM KEM, Jamz Supernova, DUST, Mac Julia, Rayssa Dias, Afreekassia, Flow – Humble + DJ Nyack, Trilogy of Santo Amaro – DJ Eva + DJ Fernandinhinho B20 + Léodj Bigmix, LAADY B, David Sampler Business. Basin, DJ J4K3 AND DJ Beatmilla integrate the programming ofThe ballthat rolls on February 15th.
In this special edition of Carnival, which came to surprise its faithful audience, The ball It will be in the external garden of the CCBB (Banco do Brasil Cultural Center) Brasilia, in a space for 7000 people. The sampling of the ticket takes place on the CCBB website from 07/02.

DF’s peripheral youth will be able to count on the free bus service to come from different administrative regions. In this edition, the Festival doubled the amount for 20 buses. Two of these vehicles will make an uninterrupted route between the Plano pilot bus station and the CCBB, from the beginning to the end of the event, also contributing to the mobility of the public that will arrive by bus or on the subway, from any region of Brazilia.
The other buses go and range from the most requested addresses by the event of the event and require a preventive registration for access.
Marathon of activity
From 10 to 14 February, there is also a marathon of activities in other administrative regions of the Federal District, such as: Taguatinga, Ceilndia, Paranoá and Rescanto Das Emas.
The educational program includes three debates in public education institutions, two creative seminars taught in units of the local socio -educational system, in addition to Afrobeat Laba laboratory for DJs and musical producers held in collaboration with the British Council and with the participation of DJ Kem KemBorn in Lagos (Nigeria) and based in London.
Dear Favela speaksThe conference created to strengthen artists and creative companies from the outskirts of the Federal District, will take place in Taguatinga, with the sponsorship of Claro. Themes as “technologies for the future of the suburbs”, “Algorithmic racism” and “Environment” will be on the agenda, together with practical seminars, company rounds and tutoring laboratory, with creative market experts.
To close with a gold key, the Favela speaks will also have three great shows: Chico César A Sesi Yara Amaral (Taguatinga), MC Lunna in the Biosca conical (pilot floor) e Ebony in Citizen Square (ceilândia).
This special edition of Carnival – Favela rings In CCBB BRASILIA – It is carried out with funds of the Culture Support Fund and the Law on the Culture of the Federal District. Detained by Produz + and by the agency, the event is presented by Banco do Brasil, with the main sponsorship of Banco DO Brasil Cultural Center, the sponsorship of Claro and the support of the British Council and the Soma Cidadania Cidadania Institute.
