Elton John’s ‘Tiny Dancer’ Gets a Version Re-recorded by Britney Spears

Elton John and Britney Spears would have recorded a duet that will be released in August

“Tiny Dancer,” 1971 song from Elton John, will get a re-recorded version by Britney Spears. According to TMZ, the song was recorded last week and will be released in August via Universal Music. The song marks the return of Britney Spears to the music industry after his tenure ended.

“That was the idea of Eltonand Britney is a big fan. They recorded a remix of “Tiny Dancer” like a full duet – and it’s amazing. Britney was in the studio in Beverly Hills last week with Elton for the super secret recording session overseen by super producer Andrew Watt,” a source told the outlet. Pagesix (via Glam)

Watt, whose studio is in the basement of his house, has produced albums for the likes of Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Pearl Jam and Ozzy Osbourne and won the 2021 Grammy for Producer of the Year.


End of guardianship

the guardianship of Britney Spears ended in November 2021. The judge Brenda Penny put an end to the father’s control, Jamie Spears, about the singer’s life, career and finances. In September, Jamie has been removed from the tutor role of Britney while both parties fought for the end of the process.

In addition to her father, the former businesswoman of Britney was also involved with the singer’s tutelage. Leaked emails at the beginning of the month prove that Lou Taylor planned the guardianship that lasted 13 years.
