BLACKPINK presents ‘Ready For Love,’ first single since 2020

After two years, BLACKPINK performed the first single, during a virtual concert, ahead of the comeback scheduled for August

BLACKPINK is back! K-pop girl group performed a snippet of “Ready For Love,” first single since 2020, in a virtual show on the Pug Mobile game this Friday, 22. Jisoo, Lisa, Jennie and rosé turned into avatars to enter the game on the 22nd, 23rd, 29th and 30th of July.

The official “comeback” – as the launch of new projects in the K-pop universe is defined – is scheduled for August, but fans had a preview of what to expect from the return of the BLACKPINK during the event The Virtual.

“Ready For Love” is nothing new for those who follow the group, as an excerpt of the track was leaked on the internet years ago in addition to being presented during a studio session in the documentary by Netflix, Light Up the Sky (2020). However, it had not been fully disclosed until now. With the presentation in the game, the name of the song was among the most talked about topics on Twitter.

For those who missed the presentation, there is still the opportunity to watch the show of the avatars of BLACKPINK on July 23 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and from 10:30 pm to 12:30 am. While on July 29 it will be from 11 pm to 1 am and on July 30 from 9 pm to 11 pm. Just download the Pug Mobile app on your phone and preload the “Concert Resource Pack” function.

When playing, the user can unlock prizes, in addition to clothing inspired by the singers’ style and voice packs of Jisoo, Lisa, Jennie and rosé to use in the game, which include never heard voice commands from the singers themselves.
