The Elis 80 show celebrates the life and work of the iconic Brazilian singer on a special night
Elis Regina, one of the greatest voices of Brazilian music, will be honored in the show Elis 80which takes place on March 28, in Espaço Unimed, in San Paolo.
In a single presentation, the public will have the opportunity to relive Elis’ magic through a sensory experience that combines technology, memory and exciting interpretations.
The show, idealized and presented by João Marcello Bôscoli, son of the singer, promises to transport the public to the singular universe of Elis Regina. The stage will be set with the artist’s personal effects, creating an intimate atmosphere that refers to his living room. Photographs, extracts of unpublished interviews and videos will be designed on a big screen, providing a deep immersion on Piminha’s trajectory.
One of the most anticipated moments of the night will be the recreation of Elis’ voice, restored and remastered with artificial intelligence resources. This advance will allow the foundation of his interpretation with the band and guest artists, creating unforgettable duets. The event will present special apparitions of artists who have had their career marked by Elis. The public will also look an exciting duet between Pedro Mariano, son of Elis and the restored voice of the singer in Field house.
The band that will follow the show is made up of talented musicians: Marcelo Maita (Piano and Synth), Robinho Tavares (bass), Conrado Gays (guitar), Daniel De Paula (drums) and Márcio Forte (percussion). Together, they will give a new outfit to the classic arrangements, maintaining the essence of the original interpretations, but with contemporary energy.
