Band famous for the song “Troop de Elite” returns with a tour that celebrates the 25th anniversary of the illegal album, his debut work

In an interview with the journalist Igor Miranda to the Rolling Stone Brazil, Egypcio (vocalist), Román Laurito (bassist) and Pg (drummer) commented on the break and revealed what made them go back with the decision: their own interest and especially the public for a celebration of their most famous album.
In 2000, the complete quintet per Bay (percussion) and Leo (guitar) launched Illegaldebut disc that brings the hits “Elite Troop”, “Pula” and “That wears”between others. The fans wanted a tour that celebrated the record, which will only happen now, on its 25th anniversary. In addition, the group ended their activities abruptly without a farewell.
Initially, Egypcio reflects on the end:
“Bands are like a marriage, and every wedding has its differences. We started to have that, so the break, and spent a long time without talking. This has caused a foul over time, I think even because of the stress of every way, especially the road that is so tiring and pulled – and the Tihuana lived on the road. I also felt that each one was already doing something out the band. ”
After a period without contact, the musicians, in the singer’s words, again “love”. Conversations and meetings led to a desire to gather the band.
“In a conversation at home, we decided to do this tour that is at the same time commemorative and farewell, because we didn’t have time to do this with my departure in 2017. It’s something fans always charged a lot, always asked, They said, ‘Wow, why don’t you do it?’
Second Egypciothe group is in a “nostalgic” period not only of the songs itself, but also of the road and playing together. And even if they haven’t had such songs for a few years, Frontman guarantees that everyone is “very sharp” – not just the five members, but also the tour guests: an additional guitarist, Leo Routeand a trio of metals.
