Hours after being arrested, the rapper announces the release of his new album “Freedom”
A few hours after being arrested by a dangerous direction in Tijuca barin the western area of Rio de Janeirothe trapper Oruam has announced the unexpected release of his new album – Freedom. With 15 tracks, the album has almost 47 minutes of unpublished songs.
The speed of the exit, combined with the theme of the album, made many fans known: was all the controversy with the arrest of Oruam a marketing game? The rapper does not guarantee.
On the afternoon of Thursday 20, Oruam tried to escape from a Rio de Janeiro police approach. After seeing the police blitz, the musician performed a wooden horse – a maneuver made up of slipping the car to change the direction suddenly – but he was prevented from carrying out the escape from another car.
The maneuver was transmitted by Oruam’s friends in a live and viralized on social networks. On 23 -year -old was therefore arrested by dangerous direction and sent to the sixteenth civil police station in Barra da Tijuca, where he was questioned for almost four hours. In the meantime, several trapper fans protested his arrest in front of the police station.

The rapper was released from the prison after paying a deposit of $ 60,720. During his departure, he was questioned by numerous journalists about the reasons for his arrest. On social networks, he had published a text in which he said he would “respond with music”. “I can’t take everyone to talk about me anymore,” he wrote.

A few hours later, however, Oruam announced the release of his new album for the next day. Before the prison, there was no indication that the news was arriving.
To promote the release, the singer published a photo on Instagram in which it appears handcuffed inside the car. One day after his arrest, Trappers published the video of his maneuvers. In the stories, he said he was only captured “because he wanted”.
The movement attracted the attention of fans and critics on social networks, who started to speculate if the prison had not been a marketing game. In the post comments, however, Oruam denied again. “I am really trapper, friend. I don’t make marketing. I sent a peak from the plate in front of the car,” he wrote.

The theme of FreedomThe name of the new TRAPPER album is not exactly new in the musician’s career. Son of Marcinho VP, one of the leaders of the Red Command, on 23 -year -old has the habit of talking about his father’s imprisonment and asking for his liberation. The criminal has been arrested since 1996, sentenced for drug trafficking and murders.
In March last year, Oruam performed at the Lollapalooza Festival in San Paolo, wearing a shirt with the photo of his father and the word “freedom” printed. With the repercussion of the act, he used social networks to say that his father is paying for errors “and with many”, and that he has as a hero and example.
On the cover of the new album, several members of Oruam pose for a photo wearing the same shirt.
