Elton John Aids Foundation’s charity event featured performances by ‘Pink Pony Club’ and ‘Your Song’
The traditional party of Elton John during the Oscar 2025 I brought a special meeting this Sunday (2). The British singer shared the stage with Chappell RoanPOP sensation, in a duet of “Pink Pony Club” and its classic “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down On Me”.
After the performance, Roan thanked John for the opportunity and put a Bright pink cowboy hat in your head.

“Thank you so much for believing in me. You made me the artist I could be,” Roan said on stage.
The show also included hits from the singer, as “Naked in Manhattan”, “Super Graphic Ultra Modern Girl” and “Feminnomeonon”besides a version of “Your Song”presented with Elton John in the audience.
“It’s kind of scary to sing this song in front of the person who wrote it,” Roan joked before the performance.

Before the singer took the stage, Elton John made a point of praising her.
“I just freaked out when I first heard her … I interviewed and fell in love with her and the album,” he said. “She is one of the biggest stars in the world right now. And not only expresses herself on stage, but also out of it.”
The presentation was part of the 33rd Elton John Aids Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Partycharity event that collects funds to combat AIDS. Among the guests were Megan Thee Stallion, Hozier, Sharon Stone, Mick Jagger and Sean Penn.

Elton John, who became a great supporter of the career of Chappell RoanHe said that he gave the singer advice on how to manage his rise in the music market.
“Go at your own pace,” John said in an interview. “Don’t listen to the label saying ‘we want another album now.’ Do it when it’s ready.”
