Based on a True Story will be released on March 28 and may be the first in a trilogy
Will Smith announced last Friday, March 14, the release of his new album, BASED ON A TRUE STORY. The album, the artist’s first musical work in 20 years, hits digital platforms on the day March 28.
The last album of the singer and actor was Lost and Foundlaunched in 2005.

The album brings together some songs released by the artist last year, including “Tantrum”, “Work of Art”, “First Love” and “You can make it”besides the unpublished “Beautiful Scars”. The album will also feature collaborations from DJ Jazzy Jeff, Simone and Jac Ross.

Smith indicated that BASED ON A TRUE STORY It can be the first of a trilogy. The album title includes the subtitle “Season 1: Ritw”.
