Long will be directed by the expert duo in musical documentaries

The iconic British band Oasis, who marked generations with their successes in the 90s and 2000, is about to achieve an unprecedented cinematographic record.

Sony Music has announced Thursday (13) that the long -awaited group dating tour will be transformed into a film, produced by Steven Knight, creator of the award -winning series “Peaky Blinders” and screenwriter for the drama “Maria”.

The project will be directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, known for his work in the acclaimed musical documentaries such as “Meet Me in the Bathroom”, who explored the rock scene of the 2000s in New York, and “Shut Up and Play the Hits” on the history of the Sound system of the LCD band.

Despite the excitement of the fans, the function does not have a confirmed title or release date.

The tour of the Oasis meeting should start on July 4th in Cardiff, in Wales. The event marks the first meeting of the brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher on stage since 2009, when a historical struggle between the two brought a few moments before a presentation in Paris at the end of the group.
