Carioca Lowd Band, along with other groups, will make an event that brings together music, thematic exhibition and lecture with psychologist
The band Lowd seeks to promote a connection between rock and mental health. For this, the group launched the project “Lowd: Mental Health through Rock”. The first event held by this initiative will be the free Tomall, April 6, at Lira de Ouro, in Duque de Caxias (RJ), from 15h.
The initiative is sponsored by the Rio de Janeiro State Government and the State Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy, made possible through the announcement this Rock N ‘Roll. The production of this first event is a realization Tomock Produções, with the support of R33XISTA Produções.
Other Rio bands like Forkill, Quantum, Wick and Hatefulmurder will present themselves on the day. The initiative will feature an exhibition that illustrates the album theme What lurks inside… (2023) and a lecture on the importance of mental health to be performed by the psychologist ADRIANA VINAGRE.
THE Lowd It is formed by the vocalist and guitarist Raphael Matheusthe bassist Bruno Cabral and the drummer Victor Cabral. Matheus thanks everyone who collaborated with the project and reflects on the importance of the discussion on mental health:

Each track on the album What lurks inside… represents a specific feeling, such as grudge (“What you deserve”), anger (“Anger”), sadness (“Sorrow”) and anxiety (“Anxiety”). The April 6th action will be the first within the “Lowd: Mental Health through Rock” project in 2025. Other initiatives will be announced soon.
