Something Beautiful, ninth studio album recorded by the American singer, reaches public via Columbia Records on May 30
The ambitious new album of Miley Cyrus won release date. Something BeautifulNinth studio album of the American singer, publicly reaches May 30 via Columbia Records.
With 13 unpublished tracks, the material has executive production signed by Miley and with the Canadian producer Shawn Everett (The Killers, Alabama Shakes, The War on Drugs etc). The work will arrive with a film directed by Italo-Canadense Cosmatesnotorious filmmaker Beyond the Black Rainbow (2012) and Mandy (2018).

Influenced by Pink Floyd
In a 2024 interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Miley Cyrus made a comparison between Something Beautiful Pink Floyd. More specifically, with one of his most popular works, The Wall1979.
The American is a fan of the album responsible for presenting classics like “Another Brick in the Wall” and “Comfortably Numb”but the parallel set is with the movie also titled The Wallmade available in 1982. She revealed that she first watched the feature film in her brothers and a friend for the first time-the experience also involved renting a limo, smoking marijuana and wearing skin coats in the 1970s.
“We really accept the challenge. And then I have this heart attachment to him [The Wall]. My idea was to do The Wallbut with a better dress, more glamorous and full of pop culture. ”
The voice of hits like “Flowers” and “Wrecking ball” also described Something Beautiful as “Mesmerizing” and defined it as “A concept album that is an attempt to medicate a somewhat sick culture through music”. As for the visual aspect, he said:
“It was important to me that each song had these healing sound properties. The songs, whether about destruction, disgust or death, are presented in a beautiful way, because the most unpleasant moments of our life have a beauty point. They are the shadow, are coal, are the shading. You can’t have a painting without highlights and contrast.”

The singer’s previous record was quite successful: Endless Summer Vacation He reached 3rd in the American parade and hit the top in nine other countries, such as United Kingdom, Australia and Portugal. “Flowers”the largest hit, won the first position of the charts of 41 countries and won the awards Grammy of Recording of the year and Best Solo Pop Performance at the beginning of the year.
Since then, however, the artist has remained a little quiet.
