“I have 50 shows by the end of the year. They have six. Why don’t they piss off the contractors to hire these p#rras?” Says singer after controversy
Well before the repercussion of the show performed by Iran! at the end of March in Contagem (MG) – where Nasi asked for supporters of the former president Jair Bolsonaro Go away from the place and no longer hear the band – the band’s political position is known. Whether by letters or by statements in interviews, the group makes their ideals evident and, according to the singer, there is no discomfort even with the cancellation of four shows in the southern region, as a result of the recent controversy.
In an interview with Yuri da BS for Billboard Brazilthe singer again said that he does not want to have a “fascist audience”, in reference to those who agree with Bolsonaro’s ideals. Not only that. He also suggested another Brazilian rock band that this portion of the public should listen: Rigorwhose vocalist and guitarist, Roger Moreirais known supporter of the former president.
Initially, remembering the episode in Contagem, Nasi acknowledged that “perhaps exaggerated” and “was not clear” when he spoke. Although he said at the time “go away from our lives, no longer appear on shows and don’t buy our records,” he said, “I haven’t kicked out anyone.”
“First thing, I didn’t say, ‘Get out of here now.’ I didn’t send anything. I said: ‘Look, you don’t know the story of the wrath, you don’t know the lyrics!’. The wrath! It’s a progressive band. We’re democratic. We go through the dictatorship.
Then the real name singer Marcos Valadão Ridolfi Recognized that it is not possible to prevent different positioning fans from hearing the songs of Ira!. He added, with the provocation made to outrage:
“Now, if the fascist audience, extreme right, wants to consume my music, what can I do? I can do anything. It’s not my liking, you know? I don’t want to. They’ll enjoy outrage. […] Me and Ira! We came out bigger than we entered. I had the job of measuring all the messages I received and 80% supported me. The others were poop emoji, ‘communist trash’… They think they affect me. You know a person not for the friends they have, but for the enemies. So if these people are my enemy, Ira!, I feel satisfied. My Instagram grew 10% – and we looked a lot of people. ”
Nasi also quotes Gusttavo Lima
At another time in the interview with Billboard BrazilNasi said that even if the four shows in the south were kept, she would not change her posture on stage. Also took the opportunity to name Gusttavo Limacountry singer also remembered for his previous support to Jair Bolsonaro.
“No [mudaria a postura nos shows]. Honestly, I didn’t know I was going to take this whole proportion. First: I didn’t commit any crime, correct? I am not a singer who is responding for money laundering with the CCP. It is not? You know who I’m talking about… Gusttavo Lima. Their idol. Do I have to be ashamed? Or him? I’m not saying that he is guilty… but just answering such a process, it’s already a very bad thing. ”
Nasi rebates pockets at a show of Ira!
During a concert in Contagem (MG), on March 29, Nasi shouted “no amnesty” to express his support for the condemnation of those involved in the attacks on the government buildings in Brasilia on January 8, 2023. Speech also refers to those investigated for the attempted coup in favor of former President Jair Bolsonaro.
At the time (via Igor Miranda website), the singer said:
“For you who are booing, I’m going to tell you something: there are people who follow the anger!, But never understood the wrath! Never understand the anger! There are people who follow us and are reactionary, there are people who follow the anger! And it’s pockets, it has nothing to do, guys! I make.”

Last Wednesday, 9, a statement released by event houses in Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul confirms that four band shows in the southern region are canceled due to the episode. The performances would take place in Jaraguá do Sul (April 30 at the SCAR Theater), Blumenau (May 1st at Michelangelo Theater), Caxias do Sul (May 2 at All Need Master Hall) and Pelotas (May 3 at the Guarany Theater).
The social networking profiles of three of the four event houses – Scar Theater, Michelangelo Theater and All Need Master Hall, this Via Stories – published the same note signed by 3LM Entertainment. The content (via Igor Miranda website) Declares:
“We inform you that due to the latest events involving the Ira! Band!, We have no alternative but the cancellations of shows in the cities of Jaraguá do Sul, Blumenau, Caxias do Sul and Pelotas. We received numerous requests for cancellation of purchased tickets, sponsors withdrawal and the clear risk of non -progressing sales dates.
We regret the incident, we are a producer with over 30 years in the market and our main assets is the public, and this must be very well treated by us producers and artists, who should take the stage just to present their songs and talents.
To those who purchased tickets in advance, the amounts will be automatically refunded, according to the forms of payments made, directly by the ticket system within 30 days. 3LM Entertainment / Zig Tickets. ”

In a separate note, the Michelangelo Theater said:
“Respect is a positive feeling that is characterized by considering the qualities of someone or something, cultivating empathy. Alterity consists in recognizing that people and cultures are different; they are diverse and have their own ways of thinking and acting. An altruistic person is one who thinks of the other before thinking of himself. It is ethical in considering this interest in others as a fundamental principle of morality.
It does not matter to us your religious belief, your political affinity, your gender, race or color. Yes, it is important to have fun and use this space the way they want to always be better than they entered.
Here we want energy exchanges in the stratosphere between artists and the public, we want happy faces at the exit, both audiences and artists. Before, during and after, inside we want respect, otherness and altruism! Gratitude for understanding this, today and always! ”

Nasi manifests
In an interview with Yuri da BS for Billboard BrazilNasi stated that the shows “were canceled in agreement with the contractor” and “with great tranquility”. He blames a movement of Bolsonaro supporters entitled to people who would not even present.
“We thought, for now, transfer to the future. Because there was a bombard of these fascists. Because they act in a fascist way. It’s funny because even the contractor said that he received messages from people from Manaus, something like ‘oh, I don’t go to the show’. Another for Christ.
Still according to the singer, much of the audience in counting had begun to scream “without amnesty” before him – and his manifestation is aligned with the political position of decades of Ira!. Although he recognizes the exaggeration by claiming that contrary fans should “leave and no longer appear on shows,” he points out that he would not want to have this type of audience.
